"SISTEMAS E MéTODOS PARA ALOCAçãO ADAPTATIVA DE RECURSOS ENTRE UM SINAL DE REFERêNCIA DEDICADO E UM SINAL DE TRáFEGO". São descritos sistemas e métodos para alocar adaptativamente recursos entre um sinal de referência dedicado e um sinal de tráfego. Em uma modalidade exemplar, um sistema de comunicação sem fio 100 inclui uma estação base 404. A estação base 404 inclui um receptor 428 que recebe uma métrica de qualidade 432 de uma estação remota 106. A métrica de qualidade 432 indica a qualidade do sinal transmitido da estação base 404 e recebido pela estação remota 106. A estação base 404 inclui também um componente de alocação de recursos 434 que utiliza a métrica de qualidade 432 para alocar um recurso entre o sinal de tráfego 422 e o sinal de referência dedicado 418. A estação base 404 inclui também um transmissor 426 que transmite o sinal de tráfego 422 e o sinal de referência dedicado 418 à estação remota 106.
