Abstract

"LAVAGEM DE TECIDOS EM MáQUINA AUTOMáTICA". A presente invenção refere-se a um método para lavagem de tecidos em uma máquina de lavar automática dotada de tambor, a qual é operada de modo a executar ao menos um ciclo de lavagem e ao menos um ciclo de enxágüe. Esse método compreende as etapas de: (a) formar, dentro do tambor, durante o dito ao menos um ciclo de lavagem, um líquido aquoso para lavagem contendo um componente tensoativo detersivo e um componente de builder detergente, tendo o dito líquido aquoso um pH acima de cerca de 7; (b) colocar os tecidos a serem lavados em contato com o líquido aquoso para lavagem dentro do tambor; (c) formar, dentro do tambor, durante o ciclo de enxágüe, um líquido aquoso para enxágüe, colocando os tecidos em contato com o mesmo; e (d) adicionar ao líquido de enxágüe uma quantidade suficiente de fonte de ácido para colocar o pH do dito líquido na faixa de cerca de 4 a cerca de 7, de preferência de cerca de 4,5 a cerca de 6,5. O uso desse pH rebaixado no líquido de enxágüe oferece diversos benefícios de limpeza e, de preferência, benefícios de tratamento de tecidos em combinação com o aditivo de enxágüe, no contexto de um processo de lavagem automática. A invenção também oferece sistemas específicos para a aplicação da fonte de ácido ao líquido de enxágüe.
