Abstract

PELOTA DE ENXOFRE, PROCESSO PARA A FABRICAçãO DE PELOTAS DE ENXOFRE, E, PROCESSO PARA A FABRICAçãO DE UMA MISTURA DE PAVIMENTAçãO DE ASFALTO COMPREENDENDO ENXOFRE. A invenção provê uma pelota de enxofre compreendendo pelo menos um supressor de H~ 2~S. A invenção ainda provê um processo para a fabricação de pelotas de enxofre compreendendo pelo menos um supressor de H~ 2~S, compreendendo as etapas de: (a) misturar enxofre elementar, um ou mais supressores de H~ 2~S e opcionalmente uma carga na unidade de misturação para obter uma mistura, (b) conformar e/ou pelotizar a mistura obtida na etapa (a) em uma unidade de pelotização para obter pelotas de enxofre compreendendo um supressor de H~ 2~S. A invenção provê um processo para a fabricação de uma mistura de pavimentação de asfalto compreendendo as etapas de: (i) pré-aquecer betume em uma temperatura na faixa entre 140 e 180<198>C, (ii) pré-aquecer o agregado a uma temperatura na faixa entre 140 e 180<198>C, (iii) misturar o betume quente com o agregado quente em uma unidade de misturação, em que as pelotas de enxofre compeendendo um supressor de H~ 2~S de acordo com a invenção são adicionados em pelo menos uma das etapas (i), (ii) ou (iii). A invenção também provê o uso de mistura de pavimentação de asfalto compreendendo enxofre compreendendo um supressor de H~ 2~S na pavimentação de estradas.
