Abstract

'MODEM DE SATéLITE COM UMA LARGURA DE BANDA DINáMICA". A presente invenção proporciona um método que pode ser vantajosamente implementado em uma rede de satélite de área sitel (LAN) em que um número médio de sites compartilham uma conexão TDMA. A invenção proporciona tanto uma largura de banda dedicada para todos os sites e uma largura de banda compartilhada que é dinamicamente atribuída a todos os sites, permitindo assim tanto tráfego síncrono como tráfego em modo de rajada sob solicitação. O método inclui um método de reserva para esta largura de banda compartilhada que é especialmente otimizada para uma conexão de satélite. O método também proporciona uma rede que gerencia automaticamente seus recursos de largura de banda de comunicação e a sincronização dos sites, sem a necessidade de um controlador externo.
