Abstract
"ARTIGO à PROVA DE BALAS". A invenção relaciona-se a uma folha pré-formada compreendendo pelo menos duas monocamadas, cada monocamada contendo fibras orientadas de forma unidirecional possuindo uma resistência à tração de pelo menos cerca de 1, 2 GPa e um módulo de tração de pelo menos 40 GPa, e um ligante, com uma direção de fibra em cada monocamada sendo rotacionada em relação à direção da fibra em uma monocamada adjacente, e um filme de separação em ambas as superfícies externas, caracterizado pelo fato de que o filme de separação possui uma porosidade entre 40 e 90%. Com estas montagens de folha pré-formadas, artigos que oferecendo um nível de proteção balística substancialmente maior a uma certa carga podem ser obtidos. A invenção também se relaciona a uma montagem de pelo menos duas folhas e a um artigo à prova de balas flexível compreendendo a referida montagem.
