Abstract

"SISTEMA DE VENTILAçãO DE CARGA". Uma embarcação (14) que armazena óleo bruto em tanques (12A a 12H) no casco de embarcação mantém um gás sem oxigênio nos espaços de tanque (32) que ficam acima do óleo bruto. Isto é obtido pelo escoamento para dentro de um gás inerte a hidrocarboneto (um gás que não reage com hidrocarbonetos), tal como um gás de combustão, quando o óleo bruto for removido, de modo que o nível de óleo bruto caia, e pelo escoamento para fora de um gás de ventilação que inclui o gás inerte e hidrocarbonetos gasosos que vêm do óleo bruto, quando o óleo bruto fluir para o tanque e o nível de óleo subir. Um tubo de gás inerte (50) é usado para o escoamento de gás de combustão inerte para os tanques, e um tubo de gás de ventilação separado (52) é usado para o escoamento para fora do gás de ventilação. O tubo de ventilação é conectado a um edutor (102) através do qual um gás pressurizado, tal como vapor, é escoado para a pressurização do gás de ventilação.
