A outra estação recebendo a informação forjada recebe o restante do pacote com a taxa designada, durante o intervalo designado pelo valor de (extensão de pacote)/(taxa).Neste caso, a extensão de pacote e a taxa não são aquelas do pacote realmente transmitido e assim este pacote é descartado.
