Abstract

APARELHO PARA CONDUZIR UM PROCESSO DE POLIMERIZAçãO, E, PROCESSO PARA RESFRIAR SóLIDOS POLIMéRICOS EM UM REATOR São divulgados um processo e aparelho para aquecer ou resfriar sólidos poliméricos em uma seção de dispensação (72) de um reator de policondensação em estado sólido (34). Gás (38) é distribuído para a seção de dispensação do reator na qual ele resfria sólidos poliméricos na seção de dispensação, por meio de troca térmica direta. Parte do gás é retirada em um ponto (92) próximo à secção de dispensação do reator e é resfriado. O resto do gás sobe através de uma seção reativa do reator e purga sólidos poliméricos de impurezas. O gás retirado da seção reativa do reator é oxidado de impurezas e secado, e então combinado com o gãs retirado próximo à seção de dispensação do reator. Para conseguir aquecimento ou resfriamento uniforme dos sólidos poliméricos na seção de dispensação, uma relação preferencial de vazão em massa de gás para vazão em massa de sólidos é recomendada.
