Abstract

MéTODO PARA SOLDAR UMA EXTREMIDADE DE UMA VIGA-I ESTRUTURAL ALONGADA EM UM LADO FACIAL DE FIXAçãO DA VIGA, E, INTERFACE DE CONEXãO POR SOLDA A preparação de uma solda entre uma extremidade de uma viga-I estrutural e um componente de extremidade de fixação viga-na-coluna, em que nenhum material de flange da viga é removido para participar na criação de um canal da solda. Em vez disso, o espaço para um canal da solda é criado no componente de extremidade, e este canal é preparado com comprimento total suficiente para estabelecer regiões de entrada e saída para material de solda fundido, regiões estas que se estendem lateralmente para fora das extremidades transversais opostas de um flange. Soldas em toda a seção entre flanges da viga e o componente da extremidade de fixação são obtidas sem a necessidade de usar nenhuma aba de entrada e saída, e também sem a necessidade de empregar qualquer barra de suporte tradicionalmente usada.
