Abstract

REDUçãO DE TEMPO DE MUDANçA DE CANAL PARA ENTRADAS DE VìDEO DIGITAL Um aparelho para mudar um canal de um fluxo de entrada digital inclui hardware de decodificação 102, 106 e 107 para reinicializar variáveis de decodificação de vídeo e decodificar dados de vídeo, em resposta à nova entrada de dados de um fluxo de vídeo, e armazenamento 114 para conteúdo de vídeo de um canal do dito armazenamento temporário sendo exibido até que a dita nova entrada de dados seja extraída de um fluxo de vídeo pelo dito decodificador de vídeo e alocada no dito armazenamento temporário.
