Abstract

COMPOSIçãO SOLVENTE, MéTODO DE ESTABILIZAR UMA COMPOSIçãO SOLVENTE, COMPOSIçãO ADITIVA, MéTODO DE LIMPEZA A FRIO DE UM SUBSTRATO COM UM SOLVENTE E UM MéTODO DE REDUZIR A QUANTIDADE DE RESìDUO DEIXADO PELA EVAPORAçãO DE UMA COMPOSIçãO SOLVENTE ESTABILIZADA. Determinados compostos fenólicos substituídos quando usados com ou sem 1,2 epóxidos como os únicos componentes estabilizadores são muito eficazes em estabilizar o brometo de n-propil (NPB). Em um teste padrão comercialmente importante de estabilidade a 60<198>C, os compostos fenólicos substituídos representativos usados conforme a esta invenção, podem permitir NPB de passar ao teste mesmo que presente em níveis de aproximadamente 50 ppm (p/p) ou menos em NPB que não contem nenhum outro componente aditivo estabilizador. De fato, as quantidades tão baixas como 1 ppm foi encontrado eficaz com os vários compostos fenólicos substituídos. Além disso, encontrou-se que um dos estabilizadores preferidos desta invenção - 2,6 di-tert-butil-p-cresol - mesmo que apesar do ponto de ebulição é maior do que o do NPB, deixado quantidades inconseqüências de resíduo pelo menos durante toda a escala de 1 a 30 ppm (p/p). Também, encontrou-se que determinados outros estabilizadores preferidos desta invenção podem fornecer a estabilidade sinergisticamente melhorada na passagem ao teste de estabilidade a 60<198>C quando usados com pelo menos um 1,2 epóxido, notavelmente o óxido de butileno.
