Abstract
CALDEIRA, E, MéTODO DE RE-EQUIPAR UM QUEIMADOR EXISTENTE PARA ELIMINAR UMA PORçãO SUBSTANCIAL DE GASES DO EFEITO ESTUFA Uma caldeira (10) projetada ou retro-equipada para produzir menos gases do efeito estufa pelo uso de uma atmosfera de oxigênio substancialmente puro na qual combustível é queimado. A caldeira tendo um queimador primário (14) e tubos de água (13a) é provida. A caldeira compreende adicionalmente pelo menos um queimador secundário (24) localizado como necessário em uma zona (26) acima da área de queimador primário (15) e abaixo da saída de vapor de caldeira. O queimador secundário provendo calor ou energia para aumentar a temperatura e qualidade do vapor. O queimador secundário provendo a perda de calor ou energia através de menor vazão de gases de exaustão através da caldeira em resultado do uso de oxigênio em vez de ar pressurizado.
