Abstract
"DISPOSITIVO DE COMPUTAçãO UNIVERSAL". O dispositivo de entrada universal provê uma interface comum ao usuário para uma variedade de plataformas de computação diferentes incluindo documentos impressos. Utilizando o presente sistema, um pode usar o dispositivo de entrada universal para controlar vários dispositivos de computação, assim como capturar tinta eletrónica de caligrafia e ter a tinta eletrónica associada com documentos novos ou armazenados. O dispositivo de entrada universal pode ser identificado por uma identificação específica a fim de permitir que múltiplos usuários operem em um documento e/ou dentro de um programa de aplicação simultaneamente ou não. Um sistema óptico de compensação com iluminação infravermelha manípula perspectiva e auxilia a detectar codificação posicional que pode ser coberta por tinta existente sob iluminação de luz visível comum.
