Abstract
"LOCALIZAçãO DE LOCAL UTILIZANDO CORRESPONDêNCIA RáPIDA DE IMAGENS". é revelada uma técnica eficiente para determinar uma parte de um documento correspondendo a uma imagem capturada. Quando um usuário emprega uma caneta para criar um traço em um documento, imagens do documento são capturadas por uma câmera montada na caneta. Embora a localização de algumas das imagens será determinada, por exemplo, a partir de uma análise de um padrão no documento que é capturado pela imagem ou por uma comparação pixel-a-pixel da imagem com o documento, a localização de outras imagens será determinada mediante segmentação da seq³ência de imagens em grupos que correspondem ao formato do traço. Informação relacionada às imagens localizadas em um segmento podem então ser empregadas para determinar a posição das imagens não localizadas no segmento. Por exemplo, uma região de busca de documento para uma imagem não localizada pode ser estabelecida com base na posição de uma imagem localizada prévia e em uma velocidade ou aceleração máxima da caneta. A rotação e a escala da imagem não localizada são estimadas como idênticas às da imagem localizada, e a imagem não localizada é deformada utilizando a rotação e a escala. Uma comparação pixel-a-pixel pode então ser feita entre a imagem não localizada deformada e a região de busca do documento. Além disso, se a imagem não localizada deformada é correspondida de forma bem-sucedida, os parâmetros de transformação da imagem podem ser refinados adicionalmente.
