Abstract

"VEDAçãO DINâMICA USANDO A VULCANIZAçãO DE ELASTÈMEROS FLUOROCARBÈNICOS". Uma montagem de vedação dinâmica para instalação entre primeiro e segundo elementos relativamente rotativos, compreendendo um anel para um encaixe fixo com o dito elemento e uma vedação anular que se estende no sentido radial a partir do dito anel e configurado de modo a se encaixar de forma deslizável no dito segundo elemento, em que a dita vedação radial tem uma espessura, e um comprimento que é de cerca de 1 a cerca de 15 vezes mais que a dita espessura. Em várias modalidades, a vedação é feita de uma composição de borracha que compreende um elastómero fluorocarbónico vulcanizado dispersado em uma matriz de um material polimérico termoplástico. Em várias modalidades, a matriz forma uma fase contínua e o material elastomérico vulcanizado se encontra na forma de partículas que formam uma fase não contínua.
