Compreendendo silos para armazenagem das matérias primas (31, 32, 33) dotados de meios dosadores individuais (34, 35, 36), meios para secagem do agregado mediante aquecimento (43), de modo a produzir o concreto asfáltico em estado plástico e meios para filtragem e recuperação do pó de pedra (47, 48), na qual o asfalto liquefeito somente á misturado com o dito agregado após a secagem e aquecimento deste num tambor cilíndrico giratório cujo eixo é horizontal, sendo o concreto asfáltico aquecido e em estado plástico despejado diretamente por gravidade através do bocal de saída de um misturador (45) numa moega de alimentação (51). O referido tambor, bem como o misturador e a moega estão situados num plano elevado com relação ao solo."ASPHALTIC CONCRETE PRODUCTION PLANT".
