Abstract
"PROCESSAMENTO DE INFORMAçõES RECEBIDAS EM DISPOSITIVO DE COMPUTAçãO AUXILIAR". Trata-se de um mecanismo para receber novos dados em um dispositivo auxiliar associado a um sistema de computador principal e para processar esses novos dados dentro do firmware do dispositivo auxiliar com a finalidade de se executar alguma ação. O recebimento e o processamento dos dados são independentes de o sistema de computador principal estar no estado ativado (em linha) ou no estado desativado (fora de linha) . Um armazenamento cache, que mantém os dados de aplicação de usuário para navegação fora de linha, pode ser atualizado com novos dados, seja para alterar os dados existentes no armazenamento cache, seja para adicionar um novo percurso de navegação. Os dados recebidos podem ser processados de modo a se executarem outras ações, dependendo do contexto desses dados, conforme determinado pelo processamento auxiliar.
