Abstract
"APARELHO ORTODÈNTICO DISTALIZADOR / MESIALIZADOR MAXILAR / MANDIBULAR INTRA-ORAL FIXO". Refere-se a presente patente de invenção a um inédito aparelho pertencente ao campo dos aparelhos ortodónticos, que foi idealizado e desenvolvido para realizar distalização (movimentação dentária em sentido posterior) e mesialização (movimentação dentária em sentido anterior) na maxila e mandíbula com finalidade ortodóntica, de uma maneira eficaz, rápida e confortável com conseqüente economia financeira para o paciente, de modo totalmente inédito no que se refere à utilização na arcada inferior (mandíbula). é indicado para casos de maloclusão classe I, II e III de Angle, protusão maxilar, protusão mandibular ou biprotusão. é compreendido por um expansor (1) de nove milímetros de curso preso em suas extremidades por dois fios de aço ortodóntico (2) de 0,7 milímetros de espessura através de solda de prata, sendo que em sua extremidade mesial é fixado um tubo telescópico duplo (3) o qual está preso na banda de aço (4) que integra o botão de Nance (5), e na extremidade distal o fio de aço (2) é fixado no primeiro ou segundo molares (M) através de bandas (4) com tubos ou então poderá ser fixada diretamente na face vestibular dos dentes em questão por meio de resina fotopolimerizável.
