Abstract

"LANçA METALúRGICA PARA ESTENDER-SE EM UM VASO PARA INJETAR MATERIAL PARTICULADO SóLIDO EM UM MATERIAL FUNDIDO MANTIDO DENTRO DO VASO". Um aparelho de redução compreende um vaso (11) e uma lança de injeção de sólidos (27a) que se estende através de uma abertura na parede do corpo do vaso (16) no espaço interno do vaso. A lança (27a ) inclui um tubo de núcleo central (31) para se fazer passar através do mesmo material particulado sólido para dentro do vaso e uma camisa de refrigeração anular (32) circundando o tubo de núcleo central (31) por toda uma parte substancial do seu comprimento. A lança (27a) é dotada de uma estrutura de montagem (61) que compreende uma parte tubular (60) estendida em torno da camisa de refrigeração (32) e que tem aproximadamente duas vezes o diâmetro da camisa de refrigeração. A parte tubular (60) ajusta-se dentro de um suporte de montagem de lança tubular (62) soldado ao corpo (16a) do corpo de vaso (16), de forma a estender-se para fora do vaso. A lança é mantida dentro do suporte de montagem (62) por meio de pernos de sujeição que funcionam entre flanges (63, 65) na parte tubular (60) e suporte tubular (62). A parte tubular (60) é de parede dupla e o espaço interior entre as suas paredes é dividido em passagens de fluxo de água, através das quais a água de refrigeração flui de uma entrada de água (68) para uma saída (69).
