Abstract

"MéTODO E APARELHO PARA CONTROLAR DE MANEIRA AUTOMáTICA UMA ETAPA DE AVANçO DE UM EQUALIZADOR DO TIPO LMS". A presente invenção refere-se a um método e aparelho para controlar de maneira automática uma etapa de avanço de um equalizador de mínimos quadrados médios (LMS). Uma etapa de avanço otimizada pode ser selecionada verificando uma relação de sinal para ruído (SNR) do equalizador (LMS) saída de acordo com uma mudança na etapa de avanço. O equalizador LMS inclui um bloco de decisão de etapa de avanço, que faz uma modificação relativamente grande na etapa de avanço dentro de limites predeterminados superior e inferior, e verifica a SNR da saída do equalizador LMS de acordo com a modificação feita na etapa de avanço. Se a SNR se torna maior do que um certo valor, a etapa de avanço é novamente ajustada com uma precisão mais elevada para selecionar uma etapa de avanço otimizada em um dado ambiente de canal. Além disto, o equalizador LMS é capaz de selecionar um coeficiente de derivação otimizado dentro de um período de tempo mais curto e um sistema de hardware utilizado para implementar o aparelho para controlar automaticamente a etapa de avanço é simples, ainda otimizado em um dado o ambiente de canal.
