Abstract
"ALOJAMENTO DE CRIA PARA FILHOTES DE AVESTRUZES". Especialmente projetado para atender as condições ideais do manejo, desenvolvimento e criação de avestruzes na fase de cria , sua forma construtiva e os diversos sistemas aplicados possibilitam harmonizar um ambiente satisfatório para a cria desses animais, isento de contaminações prejudiciais, boa limpeza, descontaminação e higienização, umidade e calor adequados, pisos não escorregadios e uma excelente aeração, as quais são determinantes para a sobrevivência de um filhote durante os primeiros meses de sua vida; o Alojamento possui uma estrutura metálica removível (1); cobertura em lona (6) de fácil manuseio; piso elevado vazado (4) com sistema de lavagem com água para captação de dejetos numa esterqueira (5); aquecimento à lenha, gás ou diesel, através de uma fornalha (8) e tubulação (9); sistema de aeração natural através de portas (7) e forçada através de exaustores (11) e sistema de coleta de água pluvial através de caixas de contenção de concreto (12), as quais em dias de chuva ajuda a limpeza do piso do alojamento devido lavagem dos dejetos, possui baias (13) para controle e acompanhamentos do crescimento dos filhotes.
