Abstract

"SISTEMA E MéTODO DE TRANSMISSãO DE DADOS DE VìDEO". Uma modalidade compreende um controlador de display tendo duas interfaces para receber dados de vídeo. Em uma modalidade, os dados de vídeo que são transmitidos para a primeira das duas interfaces são armazenados em um armazenador de quadros. Dados de vídeo que são transmitidos para a segunda das duas interfaces são transmitidos independentemente do armazenador de quadros e diretamente para um driver de matriz para display. Mediante limitação da utilização de um armazenador de quadros, potencial economia de energia pode ser obtida. Em uma modalidade, um dispositivo de cliente é fabricado de modo a não incluir qualquer armazenador de quadros para reduzir adicionalmente os custos de fabricação e conseguir economia adicional de energia.
