Abstract

"PROCESSO DE MONTAGEM DE UM CONECTOR ELéTRICO SOBRE UM CABO COAXIAL, CONECTOR ELéTRICO DESTINADO A SER MONTADO SOBRE UM CABO COAXIAL E FERRAMENTA DE ENGASTAR PARA A EXECUçãO DO PROCESSO". A presente invenção se refere a um processo de montagem de um conector elétrico (1) sobre um cabo coaxial, comportando as seguintes etapas: fornecer um conector elétrico (1) que comporta: um contato central (4) provido de pelo menos uma porção de engaste (25), um corpo isolante (3) que comporta uma porção de apoio (20) tendo uma face superior sobre a qual se aplica pelo menos parcialmente a porção de engaste (25) do contato central, pelo menos um espaçamento (40) adjacente à parede lateral da porção de apoio do corpo isolante; realizar o engaste do contato central (4) com o condutor central com a ajuda de uma ferramenta de engaste que comporta uma superfície de apoio sobre a porção de engaste (25) do contato central, a ferramenta sendo deslocável até uma posição de fim de curso na qual a superfície de apoio se estende pelo menos parcialmente no dito espaçamento (40) e sob a porção de engaste (25) do contato central.
