Abstract
"REATOR / DISPOSITIVO DE TROCA DE CALOR CATALìTICO". Um reator catalítico / dispositivo de troca de calor (10) é provido para a geração de uma reação catalítica em um escoamento de fluido de reação (12) e para transferência de calor para um escoamento de fluido de resfriamento (14). O dispositivo inclui canais de fluxo de reação (20) com turbuladores (30) ali. Os turbuladores (30) incluem uma porção inicial (40) e uma porção selecionada (34) que inclui uma camada catalítica ou um revestimento (36) para iniciação da reação catalítica desejada em um local (38) localizado a jusante da porção inicial (40) . Em algumas formas preferidas, cada uma das porções selecionadas (34) dos turbuladores (30) inclui pelo menos uma seção a jusante (103, 120), onde a performance de transferência de calor foi intencionalmente reduzida para melhoria da performance do dispositivo (10), durante as condições de partida.
