Abstract

Captação de Energia Eólica Através de Conchas Montadas Modularmente em Torre Metálica. Do ponto de vista de simplicidade, uma turbina eólica é constituída unicamente pelo conjunto rotor - pás e respectiva conexão mecânica a um sistema de conversão de energia cinética contida nas ventos em energia elétrica. No entanto, a denominação em inglês "Wind Turbines" associa não só este componente básico, mas todo a sistema de conversão, desde as pás até a saída do gerador de eletricidade, incluindo o sistema de conversão de freqüência, quando existe. Deste modo, as turbinas eólicas são as unidades fundamentais de uma central eólica e podem ser associadas à noção de"grupo-gerador" convencional. Cada unidade (turbina eólica) é composta, basicamente por um gerador eólico ligado ao rotor da turbina, um sistema de transmissão, um multiplicador de velocidade, um sistema de controle, um transformador elevador, um sistema de proteção elétrica e um sistema local de compensação de potência reativa quando necessário.
