Abstract

MéTODO DE ENSINO DE IDIOMAS. Um método para ensinar um idioma estrangeiro inclui a operação de um servidor de aplicativos (10) para recuperar exercicios de diálogo de um banco de dados (17). O servidor transmite os exercícios de diálogo por rede de dados (8) , como a Internet e rede de telecomunicações (6) para um estudante de idiomas (7) equipado com um telefone celular de terceira geração (2). Os exercícios de diálogo normalmente incluem clipes audiovisuais que mostram atores dizendo o diálogo que é graduado a um nível que corresponde à proficiência do estudante. As respostas do estudante (7) são devolvidas ao servidor de aplicativos. O servidor de aplicativos executa um produto de software (19) que inclui instruções para analisar e graduar as respostas com software de reconhecimento de fala. O desempenho do estudante e qualquer outro retorno desejado, é então transmitido para o estudante. Em uma materialização da invenção, o servidor é programado para agrupar estudantes remotos de acordo com seus níveis de proficiência. Exercícios de diálogo comuns são, então, transmitidos para cadas estudante do grupo, por meio da rede de telefone.
