Abstract
"COMPOSIçãO DE VIDRO SìLICO-SODO-CáLCICO, PROCESSO DE FABRICAçãO DE UM VIDRO, OBJETO DE VIDRO OCO FORMADO POR MOLDAGEM, FOLHA DE VIDRO FORMADA POR FLUTUAçãO EM UM BANHO DE METAL FUNDIDO OU POR LAMINAçãO, E, UTILIZAçãO DO óXIDO DE MANGANêS EM UM VIDRO QUE CONTéM óXIDO DE VANáDIO" A invenção se refere a uma composição de vidro claro do tipo sílico-sodo-cálcico, que absorve as radiações no ultravioleta, que compreende os agentes absorventes ópticos a seguir, em um teor que varia nos limites ponderais a seguir: Fe~ 2~O~ 3~ (ferro total) 0,01 a 0,15%. V~ 2~O~ 5~ (vanádio total) 0,11 a 0,40%, MnO (manganês total) 0,05 a 0,40%, e que apresenta, para uma espessura de 3 mm, uma transmissão ultravioleta inferior ou igual a 40% e coordenadas cromáticas (a¬ *¬, b¬ *¬) compreendidas entre -3 e +3. Ela se refere igualmente ao objeto oco ou plano, obtido partindo da composição citada antes.
