Abstract

MéTODO PARA PROCESSAR UM SINAL DE INFORMAçãO, SOFTWARE, ARRANJO PARA PROCESSAR UM SINAL DE INFORMAçãO, E, APARELHO PARA APRESENTAR UM SINAL DE INFORMAçãO Um sinal de informação inclui uma pluralidade de marcas d'água (Wi) que juntas definem uma carga útil de dados, tal como uma informação de direitos. Um detector (100) detecta a presença (60-62) de cada uma pluralidade de marcas d'agua no sinal de informação e provê uma saída (101-103) que pode ser usada para determinar (70, 75) a carga útil representada pelas marcas d'agua. Uma medida de confiança na precisão da carga útil representada pelas marcas d'agua é calculada (110) usando informação (104-106) dos estágios de detecção (60-62). Isto provê uma medida da qualidade da carga útil a qualquer equipamento que se confia nos resultadod de carga útil, tal como um sistema de Administração de Direitos Digitais (DRM). Informação sobre a forma de picos de correlação obitdos nos estágios de detecção (60-62) pode ser usada para derivar a medida de confiança na precisão da carga útil.
