Abstract

MéTODO E CODIFICADOR PARA CODIFICAR UMA PLURALIDADE DE SINAIS DE ENTRADA PARA GERAR DADOS CODIFICADOS CORRESPONDENTES, MéTODO E DECODIFICADOR PARA DECODIFICAR DADOS CODIFICADOS PARA REGENERAR REPRESENTAçõES CORRESPONDENTES DE UMA PLURALIDADE DE SINAIS DE ENTRADA, DADOS CODIFICADOS, E, SOFTWARE Um método para codificar sinais de entrada (1, r) para gerar dados codificados (100) é provido. O método envolve processar os sinais de entrada (1, r) para determinar primeiros parâmetros (<sym>~ 1~, <sym>~ 2~) descrevendo diferença de fase relativa e diferença temporal entre os sinais (1, r), e aplicar estes primeiros parâmetros (<sym>~ 1~, <sym>~ 2~) para processar os sinais de entrada para gerar sinais intermediários. O método envolve processar os sinais intermediários para determinar segundos parâmetros (<244>; IID, p) descrevendo rotação angular dos primeiros sinais intermediários para gerar um sinal dominante (m) e um sinal residual (2), o sinal dominante (m) tendo uma magnitude ou energia maior do que aquela do sinal residual (s). Estes segundos parâmetros são aplicáveis para processar os sinais intermediários para gerar os sinais dominante (m) e residual (s). O método também envolve quantizar os primeiros parâmetros, os segundos parâmetros, e sinais dominante e residual (m, s) para gerar dados quantizados correspondentes para multiplexação subseqüente para gerar os dados codificados (100).
