Abstract
MéTODO PARA OPERAR UM CIRCUITO DE CONTROLE PARA UMAVáLVULA DE CONTROLE, SISTEMA DE POSICIONAMENTO ADAPTADO PARA CONTROLAR UM ATUADOR PNEUMáTICO ACOPLADO A UM ELEMENTO DE ESTRANGULAMENTO, E, MéTODO PARA DETECTAR FALHAS EM UM CIRCUITO DE CONTROLE PARA UMA VáLVULA DE CONTROLE. Um circuito de controle de uma válvula de controle é operado usando pressão de saída de um amplificador pneumático como o parâmetro de controle. O circuito de controle pode ser operado continuamente em modo de controle de pressão, ou pode ser comutado de um outro modo, tal como modo de controle de percurso, para o modo de controle de pressão em resposta a cedas condições operacionais, tais como operação na faixa de cone, operação com o elemento de estrangulamento encaixando um limitador de percurso, ou como uma reserva no caso de falha do sensor de parâmetros de controle primários. A operação do circuito de controle no modo de controle de pressão permite adicionalmente que sejam feitos diagnósticos dos componentes do circuito de controle, mesmo quando o sistema estiver operando na faixa de corte ou tiver encaixado um limitador de percurso. O diagnóstico pode ser feito usando sensores de pressão e percurso normalmente providos com um posicionador. Um processador pode ser programado para receber dados dos sensores e gerar sinais de falha de acordo com uma subrotina lógica. A subrotina lógica pode incluir o cálculo do fluxo de massa de fluido de controle através do orifícios de saída do amplificador pneumático e comparação de outros parâmetros operacionais para detectar vazamentos e bloqueios nos componentes do circuito de controle. Uma vez que seja detectada uma falha, o local da causa-raiz da falha pode ser identificada pela caracterização de parâmetros operacionais do circuito de controle no momento da falha.
