Abstract

COMPOSIçõES FARMACêUTICAS COMPRIMIDAS.A presente invenção fornece uma composição farmacêutica comprimida contendo polietileno glicol de peso molecular de 2000 a 4500, em que o polietileno glicol constitui de 80 a 99,5% em peso da composição, um ou mais eletrólitos para o tratamento da constipação, impacção fecal, retenção fecal, cólica e gás intestinal ou flatulência ou para lavagem ortostática, evacuação do cólon ou limpeza do cólon.Verificou-se, surpreendentemente, que uma composição farmacêutica comprimida contendo PEG, por exemplo, um comprimido sólido, é significativamente mais palatável do que as composições propostas anteriormente e é eficaz quando administrada. Verificou-se que a composição farmacêutica comprimida da invenção contendo polietileno glicol tem um sabor mais agradável e uma sensação mais agradável na boca do que as omposições líquidas, ou em pó seco ou granulares anteriormente propostas.
