Abstract

SISTEMA PARA APLICAçãO DE FORçA VERTICAL DE COMPRESSãO àS PAREDES DE UM FORNO Sistema de fixação para aplicar uma força vertical de compressão às paredes refratárias de um forno retangular ou circular, compreende um elemento de compressão, conectado a uma superfície que se prolonga lateralmente à parede do forno e um elemento de suporte, ao qual o elemento de compressão é conectado. O elemento de compressão compreende, preferivelmente, uma mola helicoidal que age diretamente sobre a superfície que se prolonga lateralmente ou indiretamente através de um elemento de aplicação de força. A força aplicada pelo elemento de compressão é suficiente para controlar a dilatação vertical e para evitar consideravelmente esta dilatação vertical das paredes do forno durante sua operação, devido à infiltração de material nas junções entre os tijolos refratários.
