Abstract
SISTEMA E MéTODO PARA DIAGNóSTICO REMOTO PARA UM SISTEMA DE ENTRETENIMENTO EM VÈO Um kit de diagnóstico remoto é provido, para se permitir que um sistema de entretenimento em vóo de uma aeronave seja diagnosticado remotamente por um operador que não esteja no local na aeronave. O kit inclui um computador remoto, tal como um laptop, que é conectado ao IFE ou uma unidade a ser diagnosticada. Um técnico operando um computador de base acessa o computador remoto por uma rede de comunicações apropriada ou uma série de redes. Por exemplo, em uma modalidade, o computador remoto inclui um modem sem fio, tal como um modem de telefone celular, o qual o computador acessa pela Internet. O computador de base e o computador remoto são equipados com um software apropriado que permite uma comunicação entre os computadores de base e remoto. Assim sendo, através do computador de base, o técnico pode comandar a operação de um programa de diagnóstico rodando no computador remoto, e a saída do programa de diagnóstico é transmitida para o computador de base para exibição.
