Abstract

PROTEçãO DE CABO E MéTODO DE MONTAGEM DE UMA PROTEçãO DE CABO. A presente invenção refere-se a uma proteção de cabo e a um método de aplicar a mesma. Numa capa externa do tipo mangueira (3), são previstos, meios de suporte (6) para sustentar na posição uma porção de cabo (2), que se estende axialmente na capa externa com um espaço intermediário em relação à parede interior (4) da capa externa. Um filme contraível ao calor (5) envolve a porção de cabo (2) sobre a extensão de um dos meios de suporte (6), sendo orientado com a direção da retração numa direção axial. Os meios de suporte (6) são conectados ao filme contraível ao calor e se expandem radialmente para fora da parede interior (4) da capa protetora, em resposta à contração axial do filme contraível ao calor.
