Abstract
SOFT HANDOFF PARA LINK REVERSO EM UM SISTEMA DE COMUNICAçãO SEM FIO COM REUSO DE FREQüêNCIA Para soft handoff no link reverso com reuso restrito, um terminal sem fio procura pilotos transmitidos pelos setores em um sistema sem fio, mede os pilotos detectados, seleciona um setor servidor (por exemplo, o setor recebido mais forte, e identifica setores não-servidores que podem receber elevada interferência a partir do terminal. O setor servidor designa o terminal com a sub-banda(s) que é utilizável pelo setor servidor e não é utilizável pelo setor não-servidor. O terminal transmite os símbolos de dados nas sub-bandas atribuídas aos setores servidores e não-servidores. Esses setores processam a transmissão de link reverso a partir do terminal e obtém símbolos de decisão soft, que são estimativas dos símbolos de dados transmitidos.
