Abstract

PROTOCOLOS DE RADIOLINK PARA UM SISTEMA DE COMUNICAçãO SEM FIO. Um RLP de link direto (FL) e um RLP de link reverso (RL) que são de desenhos diferentes são utilizados para transmissão de dados nos link direto e reverso, respectivamerite. Os desenhos de RLP assimétricos podem ser quantificados, por exemplo, por diferentes mecanismos de realimentação e/ou diferentes mecanismos de transmissão de dados utilizados para estes RLPs. O FL RLP pede utilizar um mecanismo de realimentação baseado confirmação negativa (NAK), ao passo que o RL RLP pode utilizar um mecanismo de realimentação baseado em confirmação (ACK). O FL RLP baseado em NAK pode transmitir cada quadro RLP uma vez em ordem seqüencial e retransmitir quadros RLP fora de seqüência quando não recebidos corretamente. O RL RLP baseado em ACK pode transmitir quadros RLP em ordem seqüencial, um quadro de uma vez até que o quadro seja recebido corretamente ou o número máximo de transmissões tenha sido tentado. Cronómetros com valores adaptativos computados com base nas condições de tráfego reais podem ser utilizados para facilitar a transmissão de dados pelo FL RLP baseado em NAK.
