Abstract

COMPOSIçãO, FITA, E, MéTODOS DE PRODUZIR AS MESMAS é provida uma composição tendo um material polimérico livre de halogênio, um retardador de chamas livre de halogênio e um agente de acoplamento. E também provido um método de produzir uma fita, contendo as etapas de formar a composição anteriormente citada em um forro; e aplicar um adesivo a uma superfície do forro, para formar a fita. Quando a fita é testada usando-se UL 510 (7a. Ed.), ela tem pelo menos uma das propriedades físicas: um alongamento na ruptura de pelo menos 60%; uma resistência à tração na ruptura de pelo menos 10,34 Mpa (1500 psi); uma intensidade dielétrica de pelo menos 1000 V por mil de espessura de fita; uma resistência de adesão média de pelo menos 0,175 N/mm; e uma retenção de pelo menos 90% de uma intensidade dielétrica média original, após a fita ser condicionada por 96 horas no ar, com uma temperatura de 23,0<198>C e uma umidade relativa de 96%.
