Abstract
Operação de um motor sem um sensor do came. São aqui descritos os métodos para girar e/ou operar um motor (10), o qual elimina a necessidade de uso de um sensor do came. Os métodos implementados em um motor a combustão interna (10) compreendem uma pluralidade de cilindros cuja seqüência de ignição ocorre durante duas revoluções de um virabrequim, com um primeiro conjunto de cilindros cujo curso de expansão ocorre durante uma primeira revolução de dito virabrequim e um segundo conjunto de cilindros cujo curso de expansão ocorre durante uma segunda revolução do dito virabrequim. O método envolve manipular os sinais de comando de injeção de combustível para que estes ocorram fora da sua seqüência apropriada, e monitorando um indicador do motor que responde a ignição ou a não ignição dos cilindros, e identificar a fase correta do motor com base nas flutuações do indicador do motor. São também aqui descritas formas de realização de produtos de software compreendendo módulos de código de programa os quais fazem com que a unidade de controle do motor (300) manipule a geração dos sinais de comando da injeção de combustível para que ocorram fora de sua seqüência correta.
