Abstract

PROCESSOS E COMPOSIçõES PARA O TRATAMENTO DE DOENçAS POLICìSTICAS. A presente invenção refere-se a composições e processos para diagnóstico e tratamento de distúrbios policísticos através de inibição de atividade biológica de um gene agora correlacionado com aparecimento deste distúrbio. Somente por meio de ilustração, o gene Fator de Crescimento de Tecido-alfa (TGF-<244>) é um exemplo de um tal gene. Também são providas por esta invenção composições e processos para tratamento ou melhora de lesões císticas anormais e doenças associadas com a formação de cistos em tecido. Os processos e composições tratam e melhoram formação de cisto patolágica em tecido através de inibição ou aumento de expressão de gene ou a atividade biológica do produto de expressão de gene, ou seu receptor.
