Abstract
CONFIGURAçãO DINáMICA DE IP PARA UM EQUIPAMENTO TERMINAL FIXADO EM UM DISPOSITIVO SEM FIO. São descritas técnicas para configurar dinamicamente IP e fornecer conectividade de IP para um equipamento terminal <39>110<39> fixado em um dispositivo sem fio <39>120<39>. O dispositivo sem fio obtém de uma rede sem fio <39>130<39> um endereço de IP dinamicamente atribuído, um endereço de IP de gateway de IP, uma máscara de sub-rede, ou nenhuma ou qualquer combinação dos mesmos. O dispositivo sem fio determina um endereço de IP de hospedeiro (que pode ser o endereço de IP dinamicamente atribuído), um endereço de IP de roteador (que pode ser o endereço de IP de gateway ou um endereço de IP dissimulado) , um endereço de IP de servidor (que pode ser o endereço de IP de roteador), e uma máscara de sub-rede (que pode ser obtido da rede sem fio ou dissimulado pelo dispositivo sem fio). O dispositivo sem fio, atuando como um servidor de DHCP, provê configuração de 12 para o equipamento terminal, atuando como um cliente de DHCP. O dispositivo sem fio posteriormente envia pacotes de IP permutados entre o equipamento terminal e rede sem fio e processa pacotes de DHCP a partir do equipamento terminal.
