Abstract
MICROLABORATóRIO PARA ANáLISE DE FLUIDOS BIOLóGICOS USANDO LUZ BRANCA COMO FONTE DE EMISSãO A presente invenção diz respeito a um micro-sistema laboratorial portátil para análise, em tempo real, de fluidos biológicos, em especial a medição da concentração de biomoléculas nesses fluidos, para aplicação em análises clínicas. Este dispositivo combina num único micro-sistema os microcanais, os filtros ópticos, os detectores e a eletrónica de leitura, ficando habilitado para quantificar a concentração de biomoléculas usando a luz branca como fonte de luz, evitando assim o recurso a uma fonte de luz monocromática específica vinda de um laser, por exemplo. O princípio de funcionamento baseia-se na detecção colorimétrica por absorção óptica. Um feixe de luz branca é direcionado para a câmara de detecção, na qual se encontra a mistura a analisar. Esse feixe é filtrado por um filtro óptico de banda estreita no comprimento de onda adequado. A intensidade da luz transmitida através da mistura, proporcional à concentração da biomolécula em análise, é medida por um fotodetector colocado por baixo da câmara de detecção.
