Abstract

PROCESSO PARA A PRODUçãO DE POLìMEROS DE ESTIRENO EXPANSìVEIS RESISTENTES à CHAMA, OU ESPUMAS DE EXTRUSãO DE POLìMERO DE ESTIRENO RESISTENTES à CHAMA. A invenção refere-se a um método para a produção de polímeros de estireno expansíveis, à prova de chama (EPS) ou espumas de extrusão de polímero de estireno à prova de chama (XPS). De acordo com a invenção, um composto de bromo orgânico, tendo um teor de bromo de pelo menos 70%, em peso, e um peróxido líquido, hidroperóxido ou uma solução de peróxido como um agente à prova de chama é usando como um sinergista à prova de chama.
