Abstract

MéTODOS DE OPERAR UM DISPOSITIVO SERVIDOR DE CONTEúDO DE MìDIA E UM DISPOSITIVO DE CONTROLE, INSTRUçõES, SUPORTE LEGìVEL POR COMPUTADOR, DISPOSITIVOS SERVIDOR DE CONTEúDO DE MìDIA E DE CONTROLE E REDE DE DISPOSITIVOS PROCESSADORES DE MìDIA Uma rede de dispositivos processadores de mídia inclui um dispositivo servidor (30) que recebe conteúdo de mídia primário e pelo menos um dispositivo interpretador (50, 70). O dispositivo servidor (30) presta um serviço a outros dispositivos na rede armazenando informações acerca de quais fluxos de conteúdo primário têm conteúdo secundário associado com os mesmos e responde a solicitações de outros dispositivos na rede pelas informações armazenadas. Dispositivos (e.g., Ponto de Controle CP 20) podem solicitar as informações como parte de um método de estabelecer uma conexão entre o dispositivo servidor (30) e um dispositivo interpretador (50) na rede para administração do conteúdo primário. Alternativamente, dispositivos podem ser registrar um interesse em serem notificados quando conteúdo secundário toma-se disponível. Um usuário pode selecionar se eles desejam aceitar o conteúdo secundário e pode determinar qual dispositivo (50, 70) interpreta o conteúdo secundário.
