Abstract
DISPOSITIVOS FOTOSENSìVEIS ORGáNICOS EMPILHADOS Provê-se um dispositivo tendo um primeiro eletrodo, um segundo eletrodo, uma primeira região fotoativa que tem um comprimento de onda de absorção característico ?~ 1~, e uma segunda região fotoativa que tem um comprimento de onda de absorção característico ?~ 2~. As regiões fotoativas são dispostas entre o primeiro e o segundo eletrodos e ainda posicionadas do mesmo lado de uma camada refletiva, de modo que a primeira região fotoativa fica mais próxima da camada refletiva que a segunda região fotoativa. Os materiais que compõem as regiões fotoativas podem ser selecionados de modo que ?~ 1~ seja pelo menos cerca de 10% diferente de ?~ 2~ O dispositivo pode consistir ainda de uma camada bloqueadora de éxcitons disposta adjacentemente ao material aceitador orgânico de cada região fotoativa e em contato direto com o mesmo, sendo que o LUMO de cada camada bloqueadora de éxcitons, exceto a que fica mais próxima do catodo, não é mais do que cerca de 0,3 eV maior que o LUMO do material aceitador.
