Abstract
FIBRAS E PANOS DE POLIéSTER MOLHáVEL. A presente invenção é direcionada a um método de fornecimento de molhabilidade a fibras ou filamentos de poliéster, a panos tecidos ou não tecidos feitos a partir deles, e aos artigos de fabricação resultantes. O método compreende a extrusão em fusão de uma mistura, que compreende um poliéster e um ou mais alquilsulfonatos de metal, em que o metal é Na, Li ou K e a alquila é alquila de cadeia linear ou ramificada de 12 a 15 átomos de carbono, ou é alquenila de cadeia linear ou ramificada de 12 a 18 átomos de carbono. Os alquilsulfonatos de metal estão presentes desde 2% a 5% em peso, com base no peso do poliéster. Não está incluída uma etapa de pós-tratamento, tal como um tratamento alcalino. As misturas de extrusão em fusão não incluem certos aditivos, tais como compostos de polioxialquileno, compostos de alquilmonoetanolamida, compostos de alquildietanolamina e compostos de polieteramida.
