Abstract

MéTODO PARA OXIDAçãO CATALìTICA A úMIDO DE CONTAMINANTES ORGáNICOS DE SOLUçõES ALCALINAS A invenção refere-se a um método para a oxidação catalítica a úmido de contaminantes orgânicos de uma solução alcalina, sendo que o método inclui a etapa de expor a solução alcalina a um agente oxidante e um catalisador, sob condições apropriadas para a oxidação catalítica a úmido de contaminantes orgânicos, sendo o método caracterizado pelo fato de que a solução alcalina é exposta ao agente oxidante e ao catalisador enquanto a razão da concentração de soda cáustica livre na solução alcalina (expressa em gramas por litro equivalente de carbonato de sódio) para a concentração de contaminantes orgânicos na solução alcalina (expressa como gramas por litro equivalente de carbono) é de pelo menos aproximadamente 4.
