Abstract

CONTROLE DA EVAPORAçãO EM RESERVATóRIOS DE áGUA. A presente invenção refere-se a uma cobertura modular flutuante para um reservatório de água consistindo em uma pluralidade de módulos, nos quais cada módulo inclui uma câmara definida por uma superfície superior e uma superfície inferior, havendo aberturas na superfície superior de modo a permitir o ingresso de água na dita câmara e aberturas na superfície superior de modo a permitir que o ar flua para dentro e para fora da dita câmara dependendo do nível de água dentro da dita câmara no sentido de prover lastro para que cada módulo flutue. Os módulos impedem a evaporação da água da área coberta e a forma e o tamanho são selecionados de modo a garantir que os módulos fiquem estáveis em condições de vento forte e não se empilhem uns sobre os outros. Os módulos podem ser feitos de metades hexagonais e octogonais idênticas por meio de moldagem por sopro ou termoformação.
