Abstract

PROCESSO PARA TRATAR PARTìCULAS EXTREMAMENTE PEQUENAS DE RPET Método para tratar partículas extremamente pequenas de tereftalato de polietileno reciclado compreende prover uma quantidade de partículas de RPET possuindo um tamanho de partícula médio variando na faixa de a partir de cerca de 0,0125 mm até cerca de 1,27 mm (0,0005 polegada até cerca de 0,05 polegada) em diâmetro, aquecer as partículas de RPET até uma temperatura suficiente para induzir pelo menos uma parcela das partículas RPET a aderirem umas às outras, e transformar as partículas de RPET na forma de "pellets", os referidos "pellets" possuindo substancialmente a mesma relação superfície-volume como a da massa volumosa de partículas de RPET, não aderidas.
