Abstract

CONECTOR DO CONDUTO áPICO-AóRTICO E MéTODO DE USO DO MESMO Um aparelho e um método aperfeiçoados para inserção do CAA que incluem um novo conector do CAA que possui um corpo rosqueado ou parcialmente rosqueado. O conector do CAA tem uma borda flexível situada em uma extremidade que e suficientemente macia e fina para se dobrar para trás de tal forma que possa ser empurrada através de uma abertura feita no ápice, mas rígida o bastante para se flexionar de volta à sua posição original e manter seu formato após ter entrado no interior do ventrículo esquerdo. Também é fornecido um segundo anel que é adaptado para ser deslocado sobre o corpo do conector e contra a parede exterior do ápice.
