Abstract

RODA DE SEGURANçA DE MúLTIPLAS PEçAS E MéTODO ASSOCIADO. A presente invenção refere-se a uma roda de segurança de diversas peças inclui uma pluralidade de saliências e abas de intertravamento espaçadas circunferencialmente sobre a porção aro interior e porção aro exterior. No caso de desmontagem inadequada da roda com um pneu inflado montado sobre ela, qualquer falha dos fixadores do conjunto roda irá resultar em a porção aro exterior se separar da porção aro interior por uma distância suficiente para descarregar pressão de ar a partir de dentro do pneu, ponta no qual as saliências de intertravamento e abas resistem a movimento adicional da porção aro exterior. A porção aro exterior é com isto resistida quanto a se tomar um projétil potencialmente perigoso. Um método de esvaziar de maneira segura o pneu quando da desmontagem inadequada da roda de segurança de diversas peças, também é fornecido.
